Ghetto Shul launches third annual Jazzfest week music series
June 27th: Siach HaSadeh (klezmer jazz), Massapan (balkan jazz)
June 30th: noZen (hasidic jazz), Mikey Dangerous (live reggae)
July 2nd: SOULFARM (world jam)
July 3rd: Magical Crimea (folk and roll), Ghetto Shul House Band and Guests (classic jazz)

In its third annual collaboration with the Montreal International Jazz Festival, Nights at Ghetto Shul will be offering a week of multicultural musical celebration. Located just two blocks from the centre of the Jazz Festival, the concerts feature international artists as well as some of Montreal’s finest local musicians. This year’s festival promises to be one of the most diverse and exciting yet.

The lineup features Juno Award Winning reggae artist Mikey Dangerous, who has exploded on to the international music scene, as well as New York world/rock sensation SOULFARM. Local veteran performers include jazz-fusion band, Nozen and klezmer jazz duo Siach HaSadeh. The festival opens with Balkan jazz trio Massapan and will finish with Magical Crimea and classic jazz by the Ghetto Shul House Band featuring jazz artists Adam Daudrich – piano, Josh Goldman – bass, Tevet Sela – sax, and other guests.
